Suny New Paltz Present: Blue and Orange

Blue and Orange weekend was created last November by a small group of individuals who belong to different Black clubs or organizations on the SUNY New Paltz campus. They felt the need to bring back the life to SUNY New Paltz that was missing and cater to the Black students on campus. Blue and Orange is a three day event starting from Friday to Sunday. Blue and Orange is the 1^st week of November. Four groups that are responsible for planning this weekend are the brothers from Kappa Alpha Psi, Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Culture Shock and Envied Fashions.

The line up for the weekend:

Friday Night…. The brothers from Kappa Alpha Psi and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity host their 2^nd annual Pretty Nasty Party

Saturday …. CULTURE SHOCK is at it again with the dopiest dance show of the year “Dance Evolution: MAD AS A HATTER”

Saturday Night… Alpha Phi Alpha presents: ANTICIPATION: THE ALL BLACK EVERYTHING AFFAIR

My name is Oran Alexander and I’m 22 years old.  I would like to be an Event Planner. I have been putting on fashion shows and all day events throughout my past four years at SUNY New Paltz. The name of my blog is LFYE which stand for “Love For Your Events.”  The reason is because I take planning very seriously; I enjoy putting on different types of events from big fashion shows and parties to small meetings.
